Working principle

Open operation: When the valve stem is driven upward by manual (rotating hand wheel) or other driving methods (electric, pneumatic), the gate rises with the valve stem and leaves the elastic seat. At this time, the valve is opened and the medium can smoothly pass through the valve channel. In this process, the elastic seat returns to an unsqueezed state due to the departure of the gate.

Closing operation: Instead, as the drive stem moves down, the gate drops and gradually approaches the elastic seat. When the gate and the elastic valve seat contact, continue to press the gate, the elastic valve seat under the pressure of the gate to produce elastic deformation, fill the gap between the gate and the valve body, thus cutting off the flow channel of the medium to achieve sealing.
