Working principle
Opening process: When operating the hand wheel (manual operation) or through the electric, pneumatic and other driving devices to drive the valve stem upward movement, the valve stem drives the gate to rise. The gate leaves the elastic seat, the valve channel opens, and the medium can pass through the valve smoothly. In this process, due to the rise of the gate, the elastic seat gradually returns to its original state.
Closing process: Reverse operation, the valve stem drives the gate down. The gate is gradually close to the elastic seat, when the gate and the elastic seat contact, continue to apply pressure, the elastic seat under the extrusion of the gate deformation, tightly fit between the gate and the valve body, thus cutting off the flow channel of the medium, to achieve sealing.
Performance characteristics
